Research shows that improving maternal health outcomes directly impacts a child’s survival and development. By ensuring mothers receive adequate care, the cycle of poverty, illness, and inequality can be broken, laying the foundation for stronger, healthier generations. This year’s theme, For Every Child, Every Right, resonates deeply with our mission to create a future where every mother and child has access to quality healthcare.
🌍In Sierra Leone, where maternal mortality rates remain among the highest in the world, we are on the brink of a significant milestone: the opening of a new clinic in Bombali District, one of the country’s most rural and underserved areas.
đź©ş This clinic will deliver lifesaving care for mothers and newborns, addressing critical healthcare gaps in a region where access to medical services is often limited by distance, infrastructure challenges, and resource shortages. It has the potential to transform the lives of thousands of families, ensuring that even those in the most remote communities have access to quality maternal and neonatal care.
