Our work
Maternal Health Africa continues to progress towards enhancing maternal health outcomes across Africa. Whilst only established in August 2022 by Dr Doug, pilot initiatives in Sierra Leone and Ethiopia have already demonstrated our commitment to providing life saving and transformative interventions for mothers and their babies.
Our vision of safe pregnancies, thriving mothers and bright futures for every child fully endorses the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal to decrease the global maternal mortality ratio to “less than 70 per 100,000 live births by 2030”.
Through united effort and commitment our work will now focus on expanding services hand in hand with developing a family of support – built on fundraising, partnerships and collaboration.
