Life Saving,
Life Changing Interventions

Welcome to Maternal Health Africa (formerly known as TRAC Trust), where we are dedicated to ensuring that every mother and every baby receive the optimum health outcomes. Our lean, focused medical teams are devoted to improving outcomes for some of the most remote and difficult cases across the continent.

Every donation makes a difference

£100

provides the critical funds for a life saving caesarian section, ensuring the safety of a young mother and her newborn child.

£75

fuels a week-long mission for medical experts to drive out to rural clinics, identifying and assisting young mothers in need of urgent medical interventions.

£50

offers relief and crucial medical support by providing a scan for a pregnant woman who may have walked 20 miles in searing heat to reach her nearest community clinic – and then be faced with a return trip home.

£20

means essential drugs can ease childbirth complications, addressing issues like postpartum infections, ensuring safer deliveries for mothers in need.

£10

grants dignity to new mothers with the provision of personal sanitary products, aiding in managing postpartum bleeding and ensuring comfort during a critical period of recovery.
